CITY CENTRE SHUTTLE

The City Centre Shuttle was a shuttle route in the Mississauga City Centre that operated in two separate incarcerations: the first from 1989-2004 and the second from 2007-2009.

MISSISSAUGA TRANSIT STUDY (1974)

A study on Mississauga Transit conducted as part of the Mississauga Transportation Study. The recommended transit network in the report would be implemented in October 1974 with some minor changes and use of different route numbers.

Undertaken in 1980 by the Mississauga Transit Authority and recommended major changes to Mississauga Transit’s route network and service guidelines.

MISSISSAUGA TRANSIT TEN YEAR PLAN (1989)

Developed in 1989 for the City of Mississauga by IBI Group, the plan recommended a substantial overhaul of the transit network to a grid system by 2001 in addition to significant improvements to the city’s road network. Most recommendations in the plan were never implemented or in the case of the city’s road network, implemented much later than the plan proposed.
